Sunday’s Mass at the Oldest Standing Church in Tbilisi

I took this photo the first time I visited Anchiskhati Basilica one weekday morning and was so intrigued with the interior light that I vowed to return for a 9 a.m. mass to catch that gorgeous ray of sunlight again.

I may be a heathen but I love the traditional ceremonies, rituals, art and especially the music of historic churches.

Finding the Astounding Sound of Tbilisi’s Holy Trinity Choir

On Sunday I went to the impressive Holy Trinity Cathedral in Tbilisi, 11 a.m. mass, hoping to see and hear the renowned polyphonic cathedral choir.

Zimbabwe Umuntu Permaculture Projects is organized to develop thriving permaculture gardens throughout Zimbabwe without the use of herbicides, insecticides or artificial fertilizers. I visited one of the organization’s primary projects in Mt. Darwin, central Zimbabwe, in March 2022, and was impressed with the size, scope and successes being achieved at the Mt. Darwin site under difficult conditions in Zimbabwe. Over the past two years I have made donations that helped to provide fencing and livestock for the site. You can help as well.
